This programme aims to bring communities together with political and institutional leaders to understand how they can design economies that build better lives. The work covers three Combined Authorities - North of Tyne, West Midlands and South Yorkshire.
Four organisations (New Economics Foundation, Centre for Local Economics Strategies, Centre for Thriving Places and Coops UK) will support people and organisations to test ideas that can help to re-wire and reform our approach to regional governance, to deliver prosperity, good health and fairness now and for generations to come.
I am working on supporting the team in the North East and West Midlands to look at advocating a path to inclusive growth and development which puts the wellbeing of people and planet and building community wealth at the heart of visions for future regional economies.
