Social Impact Measuring What’s Important is an 18 month Erasmus programme to provide youth workers with better knowledge and practice in measuring their social impact.
I designed a two-stage training course on understanding and measuring social value to enable youth workers to gain a deeper understanding of the principles underpinning such an approach, tools and techniques to create measurement processes and opportunities for the participants to reflect on how it could impact their work.
The first five-day training course focused on theory was delivered to 21 participants from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, North Macedonia, Poland, Portugal and Ukraine in August 2020. Due to Covid-19 the training course took place remotely on Zoom using a blended learning approach to delivery.
The second course, focusing on deepening knowledge and practice through peer support took place in Sumy, Ukraine, in January 2022. The partners were then planning to implement a local project to share their learning with their peers and share their collective learning before a final conference at the end of March 2022.
The project is currently on hold.
