Join the dots: The role of apprenticeship intermediaries in England
This research looked at barriers for businesses, learning organisations and learners in accessing and navigating the English apprenticeship system, and the role of intermediary organisations in helping to overcome such barriers. It also gathered insights from international research and three country case studies to help contextualise potential solutions within what is working in other contexts and labour markets.
I undertook primary research with those engaged with the English system, as well as stakeholders in Australia to gather insights from their system that might be useful when reflecting on the development of practice in England.
The report sets out the findings, and suggested policy solutions to support small businesses in England.
